The "Water Vault" was named by a group of long term apprentices who completed this single, standalone vault in 2015. In our advanced long term program offered in the Spring, students who have completed our apprenticeship program have the opportunity to design and build a vault similar to this. The vault includes a south wall designed for maximum solar gain, as well as an insulated floor slab to retain heat and maintain consistent temperatures. The door is made from recycled wood and the glass design uses recycled bottles.
